Dr. Desai is a board-certified, Harvard-educated orthodontist. Every orthodontist starts their journey as a dentist.
Only about 6% of all dental graduates continue their education to become orthodontists. Dr. Desai spent 11 years training to become an orthodontist.
First, he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Villanova University. From there, Dr. Desai enrolled in Harvard Dental School for his dental training.
As an orthodontic student, Dr. Desai dedicated himself for three more years to learn the skills needed to manage tooth movement and to guide facial development and he completed his orthodontic residency at Columbia University in New York City.
On top of that, Dr. Desai is board-certified in orthodontics by the American Board of Orthodontics. This extra training means you're getting expert care at Elm Tree Orthodontics.
