Our orthodontist, Dr. Desai, relies on the support of our team at Elm Tree Orthodontics to allow things to run as smoothly as they do. Orthodontic Assistants
Tamar, Cheri, and Alli work as our wonderful orthodontic assistants. They are the organized multi-taskers of the office. They help in taking care of everything from preparing you for your appointment when you walk in, discussing the day’s agenda, gathering all the necessary dental equipment Dr. Desai may need, and providing chairside assistance while he works on your teeth. Some tasks are a two-person job, allowing him to fully depend on their efforts.
Operations Manager
Cheri also plays a second vital role as our operations manager. She takes care of day-to-day operations and helps drive our success home. Overseeing the whole team and making sure everything is running safely, we depend on her to achieve our team goals at the office and ensure we are doing the best job we possibly can for you!
Scheduling Coordinators
Angela and Diane serve as our organized scheduling coordinators, where they manage booking patient appointments on our calendar. By working with you to find the best time to return to our practice for ongoing treatment, they help us take care of you and are able to accommodate your busy life. They are also responsible for handling both financial and administrative records, notably insurance billing. We rely on them to help make your payment plans run, well, according to plan!

Dr. Desai is devoted to helping people of all ages create the smile of their dreams! It is a priority of his that all of our patients feel involved and confident in the treatment process.
A board-certified orthodontist and proud graduate of Harvard School of Dental Medicine, he received his orthodontic residency at Columbia University. He has undergone over a decade of training and continues learning every day in the office. He further pursues his dedication to the field through membership in professional organizations such as the American Association of Orthodontics and American Dental Association, always eager to learn where he can.
